Madness - Live To The Edge Of The Universe And Beyond - 2CD

Now I bring something from Madness, legendary band who has over 30 years in the 2Tone music scene, Madness Live: To The Edge Of The Universe And Beyond is a double live album by British ska band Madness. It was released in November 2006 as in-lays in two consecutive issues of the newspaper The Mail on Sunday. Although it is named after the group's 2005-6 tour, many of the recordings are in fact older and some had been issued before ("Razor Blade Alley" and "The Sun and the Rain" in particular contain distinctive ad libs which make them easily recognisable as coming from the band's previous live LP, Madstock!). Two tracks, "Prospects" and "March of the Gherkins", appear in mono. TO ENJOY¡¡¡

Celtas Cortos - Introversiones

This time some Celtas Cortos,  a Rock Celtic's band from pucela (Spain) which started in 1984, "Introversiones" is the latest release which has been taken, they were recently in the International Book Fair in Guadalajara Mexico on December 5, 2010 to close the event and apparently the concert was a success, I leave two songs  and the full cd to download it. Includes a version of "Come on Eileen" also starring the former ska-rock band "Save Ferris".

Esta vez algo de Celtas Cortos banda pucelana de Rock-Celta que comenzo en 1984, Introversiones es el último disco que han sacado, recientemente estuvierón en la Feria Internacional Del Libro en Guadalajara México el 5 de diciembre de 2010 para cerrar dicho evento y al parecer el concierto estuvo cojonudo, les dejo dos canciones y el cd full para que lo descarguen. Incluye una version de "Come on Eileen" tambien interpretada por la desaparecida banda de Ska-Rock "Save Ferris"

este disco no lo he visto en ningun lado asi que es un estreno que solo podrián encontrar aquí en "authenticska.blogspot.com", incluye una cancion que no esta en ninguno de los discos restantes de su discografia es la canción 9, pasensela bien y beban hasta perder el conocimiento jajajaja

The Slackers are a classic American band that is equal parts grit and grace. Their slow rise against the odds is a story in perseverance and a belief in their musical vision, what Vic likes to call, "Jamaican Rock N Roll." While they have been influenced, and even personally taught by Jamaican ska/reggae originators, like the Skatalites and the Upsetters (Original backing band for the Wailers), the band sees its music as an extension of the traditions of the United States. This band is equally appreciative of old blues, country, 60s soul, rock, and R&B as it is of reggae, rocksteady, dub, and Ska. It is as if the Rolling Stones or the Yardbirds had grown up on Bob Marley.

From their 1996 release, Better Late Than Never through to 2010 with The Great Rocksteady Swindle, they have established themselves as America's premiere interpreters and innovators of Jamaican music and a pretty good Ska-Rock band to boot.

The Slackers son una banda clasica americana formada a base de esfuerzo y talento. Su lento ascenso contra todo pronóstico es una historia de perseverancia y fe en su visión musical a lo que "Vic" le gusta llamar "Rock N Roll Jamaiquino". Mientras que han sido influenciados, e incluso enseñados personalmente por maestros del ska jamaiquino y autores del reggae como THE SKATALITES y THE UPSETERS (Banda Originada de THE WAILERS) La banda considera su música como extension a la musica tradicional estatounidense. Esta banda valora el viejo blus, country, el Soul de los 60's, rock y R&B como tambien al Reggae,Rocksteady,Dub y SKA. Es como si los Rolling Stones o los Yardbirds crecieran con Bob Marley.

Desde su lanzamiento como agrupación en 1996 con su disco "Más Vale Tarde que Nunca-Better Late Than Never" hasta el año 2010 con el nuevo cd "La gran estafa del Rocksteady-The Great Rocksteady Swindle" se han establecido como interpretes de calidad en los Estados Unidos y en innovadores de la musica jamaiquina en su pais además de una buena banda de Ska-Rock para "empezar".
